Frank’s Winter Recipes – Crock Pot Chicken Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts Large
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 (16 oz.) jars Alfredo sauce
  • 1⁄2 pound Fettuccine pasta boiled and drained

Garnish

  • 1⁄4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1⁄2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Spray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Rub Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper thoroughly over the chicken breasts and place them in a crock pot. Pour alfredo sauce on top of the chicken. Mix it all together.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2.5 hours or until chicken is fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken breasts and use a sharp knife to cut them into small cubes and put them back in the crock pot and mix everything together gently. You can also shred the chicken, if you like.
  5. Add the boiled pasta in the crock pot and mix everything together.
  6. Garnish with parmesan cheese, some pepper and Italian seasoning.
